Guest guest Posted August 7, 2003 Report Share Posted August 7, 2003 Ingredients: 1,2 kg sour apples 250 g onions 1 " piece ginger 200 g brown sugar 50 g raisins 1/4 litre apple vinegar a pinch of cumin 1 tsp salt 1/4 litre apple juice Method: 1. wash, core and peel apples and cut them into rough chunks. 2. peel onions, cut into chunks as well and mix with the apples. 3. peel ginger and cut into small pieces, add to the apples. 4. add the other ingredients and stir. 5. simmer the mixture over a small flame for 2 hours, stirring occaisonally. 6. fill into twist-off cap jars.
