Guest guest Posted November 22, 2006 Report Share Posted November 22, 2006 - CONFERENCE UPDATE - The next Asia for Animals conference is January 10-12, 2007 in Chennai, India. http://www.asiaforanimals.org/ Announcing an additional and important workshop " ESTABLISHMENT AND OPERATION OF SUCCESSFUL ANIMAL BIRTH CONTROL PROJECTS " The organising committee of the Asia For Animals Conference 2007 is pleased to announce this important workshop, to be held on January 9th 2007, the day prior to full commencement of the conference. The workshop, endorsed by the Animal Welfare Board of India, will provide a forum whereby interested parties may discuss significant issues and contribute to the drafting of formal guidelines relevant to ABC/AR initiatives. The agenda will include a proposal to establish an ABC/AR steering committee. All organisations and individuals with a specific interest in such projects are encouraged to attend. This landmark event will be hosted by Vets Beyond Borders (previously VetCharity), the Australian-based veterinary NGO, currently involved with many ACB/AR projects in India and the Pacific region. A panel of experts, drawn from all over Asia, is being formed to direct the proceedings.
