Guest guest
I put something together a couple years ago, but will have to find the file. I'll probably end up keeping an updated list on my blog. When I put it up, I will post to the list. Hi, I'm new to the list & browsed the archive but didn't see this topic addressed. (Apologies if it has been.) Are there any resources out there for veg parents to evaluate appropriate movies and books for their kids? This came up because we recently bought my daughter a Sesame Street DVD that, to our surprise, had a clip about a cow explaining how she likes to be milked. But we have another Sesame Street DVD that is veg-neutral. I tried doing a web search and came up with suggested reading/ viewing lists that included " Charlotte's Web, " " Babe, " and " Chicken Run, " but they're not very helpful in evaluating the broad array of choices that are out there. I'm looking for something a little more comprehensive. Thanks in advance for your reply. ~ Jessica ____________ _________ _________ _________ _________ _________ _ Peek-a-boo FREE Tricks & Treats for You! http://www.reallive moms.com? ocid=TXT_ TAGHM & loc= us
Guest guest
Gotta love Sesame Street -- we have an otherwise fun CD of their kids songs that includes a song about eating chicken, sung by a chicken, and it includes lines like " I'm delicious, I'm nutritious, I am chicken! " Whenever it comes on my kids say " Here's that song that mom doesn't like. " Heather Jessica Almy wrote: > > Hi, > > I'm new to the list & browsed the archive but didn't see this topic > addressed.
