According to information, one rhino was shot and killed by poachers on Monday at Haldhibari under Kohora range. On August 5 another rhino that forayed away from the park to the Bonkual area was followed and killed by poachers. The horns of both the rhinos were dug out and taken away. Taking these two the total number of poaching cases in the Park this year has risen to 12 of which 10 had been killed inside the park and two outside. -- Fight captive Jumbo abuse, end Elephant Polo http://www.stopelephantpolo.com
