Guest guest
Hi my name is Tanya I am 31 years old and I have been a vegetarian for 18 years now. I have 2 children, one is 10 and the other is 2. Both of my children are being raised vegetarians. We eat eggs and dairy we get our eggs from my sister (she has no roosters). Both of my children are raised with the teaching that we do not need to survive by pointlessly killing animals to survive. Our technology and advancement in our knowledge of nutrition has provided us with a fantastic opportunity to live a healthy lifestyle -meat free-. When my daughter was 7 I decided that I had provided her with all of the information that I could and I started to allow her to make her own decisions regrading her meat eating. At 8 she decided to try a peperoni pizza and she loved it. then she wanted to try chicken and she loved it. I was devastated, but I supported her. I did not want to do what my parents did to me when I decided to become a vegetarian and freak out. Luckily my husband and I had a deal from the beginning. He can eat meat and I will not judge as long as I am not expected to buy, touch or cook it. So while my daughter was going through her phase he did all of her cooking. luckily her phase only lasted about three weeks. I find it a struggle to provide my son with enough protein he is only 2 and the Doctor will not allow him to eat nuts yet, and he HATES tofu. The pre-packaged vegi sausages he will eat, however they are filled with sodium and artificial fillers. Maybe someone has some suggestions for me. Well I wanted to introduce myself and say hi. Feel free to write me whenever veg-head from ca Tanya ______________________________\ ____ Looking for last minute shopping deals?
