We did a school project with a group of 30 troubled children.

On eating healthy and vegetarian/vegan.

The first reaction to it was not good, they liked their burgers, fries and

pizza's, they never knew about veggie burgers or pizza's, snacks and treats.

They thought all we eat are vegetables, and told us so. Some of the children

couldn't remember when they had a vegetable last. Which to me was very sad. So

we did a cooking project and the children did the cooking in groups. I supplied

the recipes from the 2 groups.

Donna's vegetarian group and AJ spicy vegetarian group. so that means the

recipes were from you all.

We cooked/made 21 recipes and parents/guardians other teachers voted on the

recipes as well as our students.

AJ helped me with this project and also helps 15 children in her home once a

week. All 15 of her children were part of this group.

So here are the recipes and results of our adventure. We put all the recipes

into small folders and everyone took one home with them.

Thank you all for sending these wonderful recipes and making the children feel

they can do anything if they have people working with them.
