After the whole controversy surrounding the recent 'Cartier Elephant

Polo Cup 2006' where some animal welfare organisations wanted to prove

a point that 'Animal Rights' is just not a priority when it comes to

animal welfare or perhaps unique ways of fund raisings at the cost of

violating the basic rights of the destitute elephants, the following

news of the so called 'father of animal rights' publicly backing the

use of living creatures in medical experiments, goes to prove yet

again that,

YES, ANIMAL RIGHTS ADVOCACY IS BEING REDUCED TO A MINORTY GLOBALLY :

This attempt to sabotage the work of animal rights advocates, or those

who like to voice for the voiceless destitute creatures comes as a

threat from not the outer world or the animal abuse lobby, but our

very own 'animal welfare people'.

This is something which needs to be adressed RIGHT NOW, before it is

too late and 'ANIMAL RIGHTS' becomes a MINORITY infront of this

greedy, unethical and irresponsible section of 'ANIMAL WELFARE PEOPLE'.

Such a thing should not be permitted to snowball.

I am sure that many would agree that 'Animal Welfare' and 'Animal

Rights' people are no more on the same platform as I always used to

feel earlier. And I can only see things getting worse in future, worse

for the animal kingdom.
