Guest guest
Dear All, This is a reminder to all the residents of Bangalore and elsewhere that we would be having the Freedom Walk for Animals on the 15th of August, 2007 commencing at Mayo Hall (M.G road) at 10:30am and concluding at the Mahatma Gandhi Statue (M.G Road). This is an intiative taken up by the citizens of Bangalore to show their support and deep love for not just their fellow citizens but also for their animals. My special thanks to everyone involved in this rally and in some way or the other has contributed for this cause. I will not make a mention of the organizations and individuals as the list would run into pages. Thanks to all! Kindly be there! Regards, Pablo. ** ** ** *For Animals all Humans are Nazis. For them the Holocaust has not ended.* Freedom is cherished by all living beings. It is not a prerogative of the human race. The *Freedom Walk for Animals* planned by Animal Caring Residents of Bangalore on August 15 th, Independence Day, is for every animal that is imprisoned and denied its natural state of being. Respect for forests, water, air and all the creatures that live in them is part of our heritage. The walk is a wake-up call to each of us who has been brought up in this tradition but has lost connection with it somewhere along the way. Must we be mute witnesses to the large scale massacre of animals for food? Should we stand silent as thousands of animals are forced into a life of misery in zoos and circuses? Are we become so insensitive as to allow the torture of innocent creatures in medical and military research? Don't elephants and rhinos have the right to live without fear of becoming victims of rampant poaching? ** So, if you feel strongly about Freedom, please come and bring your friends along to walk with us on Independence Day and show your solidarity with all living creatures! *LET US WALK FOR FREEDOM FOR ALL !! * Freedom Walk for Animals on Aug 15, 2007, 10.30 am to 1 pm, Mayo Hall, M G Road to Mahatma Gandhi Statue. Besides this will provide a wonderful background to the volunteers in animal costumes like a yellow chicken, grey elephant, person in cage, etc. White dress with a blue ribbon (for protesting the treatment of street dogs in Karnataka which is continuing unabated) tied to the arms. Ribbon will be provided at Mayo Hall. Please be there. --------------------------- -- -- WOCON: http://groups.google.co.inwocon
