Why fix the males?

I agree with your views.

Moreover ,when the unsterlized females become less.There will be more

fighting among the males and more stress and cases of dog biting.

The answer is, males actually cause most of the problems

that result in people wanting to kill dogs and cats, fighting,

making noise, roaming where they are not wanted, making scent

mounds, etc.

 

You can ignore them until the fed-up people kill them en

masse, creating a population void to be filled by more puppies and

kittens surviving from each litter, or you can start the process

sooner by moving immediately to bump them off, or you can fix them,

solve most of the behavioral problems thereby, and have a lot of fat

lummoxes sitting around drinking beer & watching TV instead of

reproducing, occupying the carrying capacity so that it isn't filled

by anyone else's offspring.

 

The same process occurs with dogs, cats, and the human population.
