Creamer replacement and refried bean recipe

Hey everyone,

 

I enjoy reading your posts.

 

For those of you who drink coffee and put " milk " in it, what do you

use? I've tried plain and vanilla soymilk and they just don't taste

good to me in coffee.

 

Also, I wanted to share a great crockpot recipe. These Refried Beans

Without the Refry are wonderful and are a staple in our house. My 10

year old son will eat burritos almost any time and I wanted to find a

good recipe for beans to save money and use organic beans. I first made

them when I was having a big party where I had a burrito bar. For our

regular home use, I freeze half of the recipe and the other half keeps

in the fridge for at least a week.

I've modified the recipe a bit to suit my son's taste as follows:

 

I use 1/2 tsp. pepper, no jalapenos, 6-8 cloves garlic, 7 cups water, 3

tsp. salt.
