They are leaving no stone unturned in their efforts to stage this event and they have heavy moolah on their side as well as all the royal contacts as well as official state support in Rajasthan. Shand has done this before and he is doing it again. He has faced opposition before and he is facing it again. He was given a strong message that we were determined and resolute in our efforts to stop his trickery and foolery in Kaziranga and we are giving it to him again in Jaipur. As I mentioned, match or no match, this issue will carry on well after 18th November. As a citizen of India, I respect the law but I also realise that this game is one of money versus morals. This dog eating elephant abuser Mark Shand will be compelled to admit sooner or later what the people of the world's largest democracy stand for. As a nation, we are a very tolerant people, but in this case, one would reckon that our collective patience is wearing thin with the dog eater's oft repeated acts of intransigence and arrogance regarding animal abuse. The organisers want the game to happen; good luck to them I say. We want it stopped as it will set a wrong precedent and our cards are out in the open. Let us see what happens. This is indeed a royal game, on and off the field. Thanks a ton to all of you who have signed the petition and who have written letters, we are very grateful for your help and assistance and we expect that you will stand by us in the future. Best wishes and kind regards, Sincerely yours, On 11/13/06, chairman < chairman wrote: > > > > DEARS > > MR.
