Guest guest
I don't want to belabor this, but... Let's please use " I " statements. Much of this dialog began as an exchange of talk about being vegetarian and not of svelt body-shape. Being aware of that, it sure would sound less judgemental to say, for example: I think if I became vegetarian but continued to eat what I consider to be crap, consuming... If I did not excercise more, then I probably would not loose weight, which is important to me to do. My concerns are based on what some might consider vanity, and not necessarily based on the treatment or slaughter of living, feeling creatures... Let's remember that we, clearly, are here (in this group) with different agendas. Thank you. " The cat did not respond. She did not believe in paraphrasing anybody. If people pursued this same feline wisdom, there'd be a lot fewer misunderstandings.
