The nine feet tiger appears to have been hit by a speeding train. Forest officials rushed to the area in the hope of reviving the tiger but it was too late. Railway officials say poachers are to blame for this incident. However forest officials say it's a freak and rare accident and the tiger had strayed from the Jaldapara Sanctuary, which is about 20 kilometers from the accident site. Now the tiger count stands even lower at the sanctuary at eight.
