Dear Friends Several weeks have now passed since I wrote encouraging you, as an animal lover, to do something special on or around 4th October - World Animal Day. We've already received some replies but are looking forward to hearing from many more, so this email is a gentle reminder that it's time to set the wheels in motion. We are encouraging everybody interested in animals throughout the world to get involved and help heighten public awareness of animal issues in their country whether they are a member of a group, organisation or as an individual. www.worldanimalday.org.uk includes ideas to inspire everyone, everywhere and everything needed to help organise a successful event. Please help unite the animal welfare movement by getting involved in building the 'World Animal Day' initiative. Don't forget, the website features an event listing facility to provide free publicity to anyone involved in doing something special connected with animals on or around 4th October.
