Guest guest
Reply to your email to Commissioner Kyprianou of 21 February 2007Hello everyone, Attached is the reply from Commissioner Kyprianou to my letter to him last February. This seems to confirm my fears and precisely the reason as to why the Anti-Fur Society wrote to the European Parliament in the first place: THE LOOPHOLE: Notice: " fur of cats and dogs " that were not bred for fur will be allowed into Europe. Also, the secondary loophole: Fur that are obtained and brought by people into the European countries. What is that supposed to mean? My opinion is that if this law passes with these loopholes, then they might just as well declare that the 'CAT & DOG FUR IS NOT ILLEGAL IN EUROPE " Nevertheless, since it is not over yet, PLEASE keep the pressure: write to EU commissioner asking him to close the loopholes. Thank you, Rosa www.antifursociety.org<about:blank> " All beings tremble before violence. All fear death. All love life. See yourself in others. Then whom can you hurt?
