The aim of the study is to obtain baseline information on bird species status and distribution in the area and assess the threats to their survival in the area. The study will cover all PAs and RF of Sahyadri Hills. Qualification: The applicant should be physically fit, must have a liking for staying in the field for minimum 9 months and should possess very good knowledge of bird in general. If desired by the applicant, Envirosearch can help the researcher to develop the proposal for pursuing a long-term study for his future work. Remuneration will be as per the JRF scale of UGC which allows a stipend of Rs. 8,500 per month.
