The bean field behind the house is actually soy beans. After all that you wrote

about soy beans, I may just stroll out there and try one raw. ;-)

I would LOVE some of your snow peas, lettuce and spinach though!

WOW - we couldn't grow that here now if you wanted to.

It was 110 yesterday - but my soybeans are thriving!

Japanese people eat edamame - that is " raw soybeans that you steam " .

We know we can sprout them. Maybe you can eat them raw. If they were

my soybeans, I would certainly try a handful, and then not eat

anything else for four or five hours, and see what happened (if they

don't work well, that would be enough time for you to find out what

they are going to do-- I would not eat a new food like that before or

at work -- I ate something I don't usually eat in the morning this

morning, and it had me very busy all day. Funny- if I eat it at night,

there is no problem!)
