Guest guest
The PETA demo went fine, despite the fact that they were not allowed to do it 13 rue de la paix as expected. The PETA members organised the demo at de l'Opéra, a few meters away from the Cartier boutique. Do feel free to check this link below for an exclusive sneak peek at the PETA demo: http://www.aapimage.com.au/fotoweb/images.fwx?Columns=4 & Rows=3 & SF_GROUP1_BOOLEAN\ =and & SF_GROUP2_BOOLEAN=and & SF_GROUP3_BOOLEAN=and & position= & SF_GROUP1_FIELD= & SF_F\ IELD2_GROUP=2 & SF_FIELD3_GROUP=3 & folderid=5000 & Stemming= & Synonyms= & Phonic= & Submit\ URL=%2Ffotoweb%2Fimages.fwx & SF_FIELD3= & SF_FIELD1=PETA & SF_FIELD2= High level PETA officials talked for about half an hour with four Cartier responsibles, who came out of the boutique to talk to them. Both parties talked nicely and didn't argue. PETA officials explained to them that elephants were not made to play polo, and told them that if they really wanted to help elephants, as they say they want to then they could fund a natural park where elephants could be free and live as they're meant to. It is however not known whether the hearts of Cartier Inc employees melted on hearing the reality of cruelties involved in the process in which these elephants are readied for such an event, or whether or not they back out from sponsoring this so called mega-event. But the fact that Cartier patiently listened to the activists of PETA is commendable.
