Guest guest Posted June 27, 2006 Report Share Posted June 27, 2006 I am brand new to this. It's been an evolving event for me. It began with getting acupunture staple in my ears. The practioner suggested a few change in my diet. I had already started several of them. Then I decided to go raw as much as possible. I've been doing a little research and I'm not clear on how to balance what I eat if my desire is to shed fat. My day begins with a smotthie of strawberries, blueberries, coconut milk or almond milk. I often add banana and some flax. I eat raw veggies for lunch, tomatoes, cucumbers, avacado, peppers, romaine, etc... Munch on nuts like raw almonds, walnuts, pumpkin, and coconut flakes. (I walk 4 miles a day). Some research says I need to eat mainly fruit, followed by leafy greens, and keep my nut intake to 5% - 10%. I've also read that night shade veggies are dangerous! So.....confused! Any advise with regards to eating raw and loosing weight! I'm 47 - female - 5'7 " and 185. Would like to be 145 - 155.
