(IN) Gir Lions - Your suggestions please....

Hello Friends,

 

After eight Asiatic Lions poaching in March-Apr07, Govt. of Gujarat and

forest department has awakened. Very sincere efforts are being made to

revamp the whole system. Hon. CM Shri Narendra Modi himself is looking in to

the problems in Gir and its solutions. He is also very much open to ideas

from other NGOs and local public around Gir. Even a meeting between CM and

NGOs+ villages was held as Sasan!!

 

I think this is the most appropriate time to send suggestions from

conservationists and nature lovers from all over the globe. Hence I am

writing this email to you to have your comments and suggestions on present

problems, future improvements needed in conservation of Gir and protection

of Asiatic Lions or whatsoever that you may feel would help better

conservation practice and management of Gir Wildlife Sanctuary. On

receiving inputs from you all, I shall compile the list and forward it to CM.
