Guest guest
Even if it is a rumour it is worth raising up the issue and writing out to those & then get it out from them whether it is a rumour. By questioning the integrity of such a caution we only end up buying more time for the offenders. We got nothing to lose by knocking for an SOS this early. Those who feel that all is well for Delhi homeless dogs are concerned it is far worse than Bangalore. Does anyone actually have any evidence of this? This is a rumor that apparently first surfaced on several European animal rights mailing lists, and reached India from there. Maneka Gandhi so far has not mentioned it. Friendicoes SECA so far has not mentioned it. I am not aware of any Delhi activist or Delhi-based news reporter so far who has mentioned it. If there is evidence, let's see it. Otherwise, the Bangalore situation is bad enough without having to invent a crisis in Delhi. -- Merritt Clifton Editor, ANIMAL PEOPLE P.O.
