Organic goes discount?

Some of you may have already seen this article. I thought it was interesting

anyway.

I don't know if it will bring me back to shopping at Walmart or not, because I

don't miss the place. I have been in Walmart only 2-3 times since I started my

raw journey in mid Feb. I got sick of buying half spoiled produce and went else

where.

I won't shop at Walmart. The main reason being that they (along with

Whole Foods and some other giants) were part of the lobbying group

which just successfully degraded the organic standard.

 

I will stick with my local co-op where I know they do their best to buy

locally, buy truly organic and to buy fair trade.

I agree with Mike 100%. I order from a local farmer and get a box delivered to

my door every Tuesday. We even have a choice of what type of box we want and we

get the all fruit.

 

And the local co-op we have is very small but surprisingly well stocked and not

too expensive.
