Guest guest Posted January 21, 2007 Report Share Posted January 21, 2007 Some animal lovers in Trivandrum were arrested by police when they stopped a vanload of stray dogs ferried to be slaughtered by the special wing of the City Corporation. The senior veterinary surgeon of the Corporation one Dr.Ravikumar said that he would continue catching and killing stray dogs and claimed that he would never care for the provisions in the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act 1960 or the A.B.C.Rules.He claimed that it was part of his style of A.B.C.
