Guest guest
Dog-eating: Open letter to the Vietnamese ambassador -Malaysiakini news on-line Cynthia Hassan Apr 26, 07 5:02pm Your Excellency, I wish to bring to your attention to the deplorable act of killing and eating of Malaysian dogs by your citizens working in my neighbourhood. I am residing in USJ Subang Jaya, Selangor and, along with my neighbours, am saddened and angry at the many dogs in my neighbourhood that have gone missing recently and ended up in the cooking pots of Vietnamese citizens working and living here. When confronted, these workers admitted capturing, slaughtering and eating the dogs. It may be a practice in your homeland but such things are not acceptable in Malaysia. The residents of Subang Jaya are deeply hurt by this crime that is taking place in our peaceful residential area and are concerned that those of us who keep dogs as pets may become victims one day. We are also in fear of what else we might lose in the future, if we do not do something about it. It can be assumed this is happening throughout Malaysia. I am bringing this heartbreaking issue perpetrated by citizens of Vietnam to you in the hope your Excellency will take appropriate action to put an end to what your countrymen are doing. --\ ----------------- Do you have a viewpoint you want to share?
