Street dogs of Nepal need help urgently.

Please help me to get some money to Nepal to help the street dogs that are dying

and hungry there.

A website has now been set up http://www.streetdogsofnepal.com . We need to be

linked to other sites as soon as possible, and we will put up a reciprocal link

for you. Email me if you can help.

We are trying to get sorted with Pay Pal but as Nepal does not have Pay Pal we

will be forwarding the money via Western Union from the account that we have set

up for the moment.

If you would prefer to send a personal cheque, send it to B. Wright (for Street

Dogs of Nepal) c/o P O Box 4734, Dublin.1.The post to Nepal is not safe so this

is prefferable to mailing money to the vet there.

If your cheque remains uncashed please check that we have received it .My phone

no is 087 2651720. if you need a receipt please ask for one.

This project is in its infancy (March2006) but we need to help the Buddhist

Monks and Veterinary team to get a rescue premises set up there eventually. There

is a dire need for one.See the site and let us know if you can help, or use Pay

Pal to donate /or send a cheque.

Being so far away, sending items like blankets or medicine is not really an

option. (unless medicines could be transported with very low costs) Your

donation will go far there as living costs are low compared to ours in Europe.

The dogs are really suffering tremendously there, I saw it with my own eyes.

Also the country is very poor.

The Buddhist monks rely on donations for themselves and are struggling to try

feed the dogs with scraps.I have met some of them and thay really want to and

are willing to help these dogs in any way they can. They are doing their best and

are kind people. Treatment on some of the dogs is already underway and they are

improving day by day.

Help us to contine to alleviate the suffering there...

Namaste...

Bernie Wright.
