Guest guest
Dear Friends This is an inside story. In most university and veterinary colleges as well as commercial hactheries and poultry farms there is slaughter of the male chick going on! Day old chick are hatched ! they are tormented through the process of sexing. Each chick is caught, squeezed to empty the cloacal contents, then his/her vent is everted to see the phallus. The male and female are separated!(They are thrown into their respective boxes) Things one can observe when this is done. Immediatedly after sexing the chicks are crying out in pain and they become so silent and sluggish coz of the pain. Sometimes the pressure is so much that the whole intestines and viscera protrude from the vent (prolapse) Sometimes the pressure is so much that the day old skin just rips apart and the viscera is left protruding out! IT IS HORRIBLE. I CAN SHOW U PHOTO IF U LIKE! Then what the next part of the torment! female chicks are sold off for about 13/- per head and the males are sold at rs2/- the chick are not fed or watered from day old stage to the point of sale which takes place about 2 days later. The females chick are usually sold out. The male chicks usually remain starving without food and water, they are sometimes given off to the local zoo for animal food. Otherwise they remain without food and water, leaving them to die like that. After a period of 5 days (probably the date of the next hatch and desexing date) the male chicks are THROWN OFF INTO A BASIN or a SMALL POND when they are alive or partially alive to either drown. be eaten alive by stray dogs and or picked up by BIRD. BELIEVE ME IT IS TRUE! IF WE CANNOT PROTECT THE INNONCENCE OF THE DAY OLD CHICK, WHAT CAN WE DO! VISIT YOUR LOCAL HATCHERY /POULTRY FARM. LOOK AT THE PROCESS SEE FOR YOUR SELF. email me if u want horrible photos
