Feb. 07 " Cheers! Animals take a drink break at Rural Olympics " & another article in the Tribune " Kila Raipur : Vet staff accused of indifference " along with electronic media " s coverage the rural olympics held in Kila Raipur. We have evereything duly recorded to follow the issue. It is humbly submitted that: 1. We have closely monitor the event " Rural Olympics " having photographs, video coverage etc. 2. We have processed the evidence & materials in legally terms. 3.During the rural olympics , the animals participated in the race found under heavy stress , pain & injury. 4.During preparation the race, animals fed with un hygenic liquid againt their will & we have sufficient evidence. 5. The animals were beaten during the event. 6. Animal used as performing animal to entertain people & performing animal must be registered with the AWBI u/s 38 of P.C.A Act, 1960. 7. Animals brought to the grounds violating the cattle transport rule , 1978 amended in 2001. Keeping in view all points mentioned above, the organisers & animals owners violated the laws of the land. It would be pertinent to mention here that " Article 51 A(g) of the Indian Constitution " defined the moral duties of every citizen & we find the said people violated this also. Hence you are requested to direct the concerned Police officer to lodge an F.I.R against the offenders under section 3 , 11 , 38 of the P.C.A Act, 1960 & other relevant laws, all animals tortured during the event may kindly be forfitted to the Govt. under section 29 & kept them in Infarmaries made out by the Govt. under section 35 of the said act during court trials. yours truly, Naresh Kadyan, Master Trainer, Animal Welfare Board of India ( Govt. of India ).
