Looking for a good book or group of books that helps beginners in

the raw food lifestyle. I started juicing and in just a day and a

half I have noticed improved digestion, head ache went away, more

mental awareness, and sleep has improved. I think for me trying to

find balance is going to be the key. While I want to cut down on Red

meat or virtually eliminate it, I still would like to eat fish and

maybe chicken. Also, learning about what KINDS of vegetables and

fruits to eat and WHEN is something that Im interested in. I really

would like to find a group of people in DFW who might be interested

in getting together once in a while to swap stories, recipes, good

resturants, etc. I think this is a one day at a time thing, but Im

already excited about the possibilites with optimum health and

nutrition. Would love some links to articles and books, especially

by doctors or nutritionists. Also looking for some practical guides

to how to do this safely and effectively. One can eat raw and still

be malnourished if one is not getting the right mix of nutrients.

Thats why I take a daily multiple vitamin, garlic, and fish oil

suppliment. Its kind of difficult to eat healthy on such a limited

budget but with some creativity it can be done. Maybe not now, but

sometime in the future getting a dehydrator sounds awesome! I love

bread and using sprouts can give the appearance and taste of bread

without it being refined. Anyway, I would love to hear someone's

story about their expereinces with raw food. When did you start,

why, how does it make you feel, do you get bored, do you have cheap

and easy recipies, etc? As you can tell, Im a hyper fellow and I

dunno maybe its the fact that I feel energized this morning and not

bloated and weighed down! I have a computer science course to attend

at the local community college, but am looking forward to hearing

from you soon.
