Please pass this on to all animal lovers

Almost all real animal lovers are willing to concede that animals are our

equals in pain, suffering, fear and despair. Like us, they love life and

fear death. And this is the exact reasoning behind the philosophy of

veganism. Veganism involves minimizing harm to animals by not consuming

them, but also not using products of the suffering of animals like leather,

wool, silk, and pearls and well as abstaining from products of animal

experimentation.

The average non - vegetarian is responsible for the deaths of 70 land

animals a year, and that does not even include aquatic animals. Imagine all

the animals that you would save just by going vegan. And think of all the

many more that would be saved if you could inspire your friends and

relatives to follow your footsteps!

Each year 56 million land animals are killed, just for food. Now that¹s way

more than all the animals that are killed for fur, that are tested on, or

used in entertainment all combined. Clearly one of the best ways we can

help animals is to not eat them.

It¹s not easy to live cruelty free in a consumerist, power based world?

Don¹t quite know how to do it?

Think it¹s too extreme?

But still want to live in accordance with your values of compassion for all

life?

Then please come to the 11th International Vegan Festival, Murdeshwar,

Karnataka, India, from Sep.30 to Oct.6, 2007
