Guest guest
in re the questions about ingredients.... there are vegetarian " oyster " sauces on the market -- bottled. It's mostly a steeped mushroom sauce. and there was a recipe posted here <Veg-Recipes/message/24739> about " chinese " mushrooms -- there are many varieties. some look like cepes. there are " flower " mushrooms and shiitakes have a chinese name. there's tree and ear and any of the dark dried mushrooms with a deep almost smoky flavor. any combination. maybe someone can point out a web page with pictures. google's image search wasn't working just now. pat
