Guest guest Posted December 22, 2006 Report Share Posted December 22, 2006 Message from Sainath Choudhury: Hi All, Just received an update from Wildlife SOS investigator from Phulwama, Jammu. - 4 bears killed in the last 40-45 days. 1 bear was shot whereas 3 were burnt to death. No case filed for 4 bears!!!! - 80 villagers arrested following TV report & protests by activists. No action initiated yet against any forest officers.
