Guest guest
Going to a party tonight, and while they love my spinach dip there, I'm tired of it. Any favorite dips anyone wants to share? I would love something new. Creamy would be great, but anything that you've had a lot of success with would be wonderful. Thanks! serene -- People are always blaming their circumstances for what they are. I don't believe in circumstances. Guest guest
Someone posted Amorous Pesto dip.. i printed it out- it was posted on October 27th by Chupababi This stuff was incredible..! My only complaint was it gets pretty thick and hard when refridgerated ( the cheese does this).. so I liked to warm it up a bit before i dip my veggies in it.. But it was amazing... Once we warmed it- we realized it woudl be a great pasta sauce too, as Chupababi suggested... serene [serene] Friday, January 16, 2004 11:31 AM veg-recipes Your favorite dip? Here is one that's really different, easy and soooo good. Brenda * Exported from MasterCook Mac * Curry Dip Recipe By : Audrey (Brenda Adams' SIL) Serving Size : 24 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Appetizers Dips and Spreads Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 24 ounces lowfat cream cheese 8 ozs apricot preserves 2 tbsps curry powder 1/2 c pistachio nuts -- chopped (0 to 1 cup -- optional) dried cranberries, for opt. topping Mix, then top with dried cranberries. Makes lots. Message From Brenda <Badams007 to The TNT Recipes List. Brenda's note: Sister-in-law brought this to family party. She used no topping and pecans, I think, in place of pistachio's. She served with rice crackers. Excellent! Betsy's Notes: Made for 1/04 party and served with ginger snaps and baked cinamon raisin bagel slices. I love this stuff. I also stirred in a bit of cinanmon and ginger. I think people might have eaten more with savory crackers. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Guest guest
Just a little review. I made the hot artichoke dip, with low-fat mayo and low-fat sour cream. I didn't like it, but several party guests sat next to it and plowed through it, telling me every few minutes how good it was. My boyfriend said it tasted Italian and that he liked it, but that it didn't go well with Triscuits or potato chips -- he said maybe french bread rounds would have been best. serene
