What do you eat all the time? I mean, what do you keep returning

to, week after week, sometimes eating more than once a week, and

it's a standard for you and/or your family?

For us, it's any of the following (I can post recipes to the starred

items if anyone wants, but most of it is just thrown together):

1) Udon soup with bok choy and onions and some protein source

2) Yaki soba, ditto

* 3) Barbecued tofu sandwiches

4) Spaghetti (if we use the whole-wheat stuff, even better)

5) Brown rice with tempeh or tofu stir-fry

6) BLTs with soy bacon

7) Bean burritos in whole-wheat tortillas

8) Soup and/or sandwich and/or salad

* 9) Maple-glazed seitan

10) Veggie burgers

* 11) Tofu scramble

How about you?

[Note: I was a veg*n for 20 years. This past year, I haven't been,

but James and I have decided to go back to it, because he doesn't care

what we eat, and I feel better when I'm not eating animal foods. So

we're making a list of all the vegan stuff we both like.]

People are always blaming their circumstances for what they are. I

don't believe in circumstances. The people who get on in this world are

the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and, if

they can't find them, make them. - George Bernard Shaw
