Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation

Method

-------- ------------

--------------------------------

1/2 cup lukewarm water

1/2 cup reduced fat sour cream

2 Tbsp unsalted butter -- melted

3 Tbsp Splenda Sweetener

1 1/2 tsp sea salt

3 c bread flour

1 1/2 tsp SAF yeast

Garlic Herb Butter:

1/4 c unsalted butter -- melted

4 cloves garlic -- minced

1 tsp Mrs Dash Tomato Basil Garlic

-- OR

1 tsp NapaStyle Herbes de Napa*

In bread machine pan, place the first 7 ingredients in

order suggested by manufacturer. Dough setting (check

dough if additional water or flour is needed). When

cycle is complete, divide dough into as many balls as

you can. Make sure they are all of the same size.

Combine butter, garlic and herbs. Dip each ball into

mixture; place in an ungreased 9x5x3 " loaf pan. Cover

and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 45

minutes. If any garlic mixture is left, drizzle it

over the rolls before baking.

Bake at 375F., 20-30 minutes or until golden brown.

Serve warm.

NOTES : Risa's notes:

Variation: After breaking dough into small pieces,

roll each into a ball. Then flatten each one and put a

thumb print in the center of each one. Place a tiny

bit of the garlic mixture into each print area. Then

fold up and then roll into a ball again. Dip into the

garlic mixture and place in the pan. Continue as you

would with the bundt pan.

* If you don't have either of these herb mixture, use

your favorite herb mixture. Nothing too strong though.

Good idea just to put some garlic oil on the bottom of

each ball. Then drizzle the garlic-herb-oil mixture

over the whole pan of rolls and then bake them. This

way the garlic doesn't burn on the bottom of the

rolls. It can taste very strange if burnt.

This is so marvelous. Incredible bread. Fun to eat and

goes very fast.
