Once you take a taste if you can get it past your nose, it's delicious. I love it, never seen it in a mooncake, I just cut the fruit and eat. It's banned in some of the hotels in Phuket. My ex had to toss one when he hit the lobby area.LOL I don't have a splatter guard or a silicone handle thingy for my cast iron pans. I'm such a hardcore cast iron cook that I never thought about it. I will look for those now. I do have recipes for baking in the cast iron. I'll try to locate and post. I was waiting to hear you liked your pan first. My friends in Singapore bought moon cakes last week and ended up with one containing durian...they all steered clear of it, though encouraged the kids to try it, the older boys would not, the 2 year old girl took a bite and loved it and devoured the whole thing.
