Guest guest
Can anyone on this list recommend (a) software package(s) that will calculate nutritional information for recipes that I am cooking or creating? I know that MasterCook (I don't own it or any other program yet) calculates per serving information on calories, grams of fat, protein, carbohydrates, fiber, mg of cholosterol and sodium, etc. Does any program go into more detail? Ideally, I would like a program that -- for example -- gives information on types of fat. Information on grams of saturated, monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats is of some help, but I need more detail. I'm trying to watch my EFA (essential fatty acid) balance: bringing omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids (and the right ones) into balance is an issue for vegans and vegetarians as well as omnivores. Thank you for any suggestions.
