Guest guest
Since I am the only vegetarian in my home, I have to cook meat dishes, though that is getting harder and harder to do. Anyways, for Sunday dinner I was just going to pull some leftover Christmas turkey out of the deep freeze for the meat eaters and I make a tofu " turkey " for myself. My question is: I have this CLUB HOUSE Turkey gravy mix and I noticed that it doesn't look like there are meat by-products in it. Can you tell me if this has any meat by-products? I'm still learning here. Ingredients:Wheat starch, wheat flour, Hydrolyzed Corn, Soy and Wheat protein, Maltdextrim, salt, Soy bean and cottonseed oil, shortening, onion powder, Modified milk ingredients, Carmel color, spice, yeast extract, flavor. Thanks! Stef
Guest guest
" Flavor " can mean anything. Everything else, while not terribly healthy or natural, looks veg to me. Lisa P.S. I've found that most non-vegs don't mind veg food if it's delicious, filling, and not served with a sermon! :-) Lisa T.
