Guest guest
Here is the menu I use for our seder. All are low fat and TNT. I will send recipes separately. Sweet and Sour Cabbage Soup Baked Gefilte Patties Beet Salad Tossed Green Salad - no recipe needed. Mix 2-3 kinds of lettuce, red onions, artichoke hearts, hearts of palm, orange pieces, black olives, cherry tomatoes together. For a salad dressing, mix together a little orange juice, olive oil, garlic powder, and dill weed, and pour over salad just before serving. This uses a lot less dressing than if it were served separately. Portobello Mushrooms with Tomato Sauce - no specific recipe. Grill or saute the portobellos (leave them whole, but cut off the stems) with a little olive oil and balsamic vinegar. When done, cover bottom of 9x13 baking pan with tomato sauce. Put 1 layer of mushrooms in the pan, cover with sauce. Continue until all mushrooms are used, and cover pan. It doesn't really need to cook, just to heat it. It can also stay in the oven for as long as needed until you are ready to serve it.
