Baseball Crockpot recipes

It's baseball season, little league style. That means that twice a week

I arrive very late ( two hours past our usual mealtime ), with three

hungry children, and one hungry husband and no time to heat up or

prepare anything before everyone just grabs whatever snack thing is

available.

Therefore, I need crockpot recipes that are complete dinners -- I won't

have time to heat up rice ( no rice cooker; can't get one either at

the moment ), or make noodles, or heat up a vegetable. I'm even setting

the table before we leave for the game.

One further restriction is that we need the recipes to be cheese free.

Small amounts of fat free milk are ok, but we can't tolerate any more than that.

And if you have any suggestions for snacks for DURING the game that are

totally milk free, I'm all ears. Dips like hummus DO NOT work well,

unfortunately,

with the facilities available. Granola bars do, but they are not cheap

to buy, plus I don't like peanuts or peanut butter, and they all

seem to have some. Things that can be served cold or at room temperature --

we're going to get tired of fruit and crackers soon!

of tasks. Right now I'm so far behind I will never
