New and wanting good basic vegetarian dishes for meals!

Hello All!

I'm new to the group, as so many are right now. I quit eating beef

and pork over 5 years ago, but continued eating chicken and fish as I

lived in a rural area with extremly limited option. I no longer want

to eat chicken, and have cut back tremendously.

I'm looking for some simple tasty vegetarian recipes that I can

prepare for a meal. I would like some recipes containing a good

amount of protein, as I would like to get my husband to eat less

meat.

What kind of software is needed to view these recipes? Please

share your favorites or point me in the direction, as I would really

love to steer clear of animal products.

For recipes, search the archives of the messages for this group (search for

" Exported from Mastercook " ).

 

Recipe format is Mastercook format. You can read it since it's just a text

file, but the beauty is, if you have the Mastercook program you can also import

them into your own cookbooks. You can find Mastercook at www.valusoft.com or

any number of places on the web or your own computer store. Look back a few

days in the messages; I published the format last week on this group.
