Mustard Dill Dressing

1 cup plain nonfat yogurt

1 TB dried dill leaves

1 TB Dijon mustard

1/2 ts sugar

1/4 ts black pepper

 

[1] Combine yogurt, dill leaves, mustard, sugar and black pepper in a bowl.

 

Description:

" Here Dijon mustard and yogurt are mixed with black pepper, sugar and dill.

Serve with a salad of steamed cauliflower, peas, yellow summer squash, and

cooked rice. "

2 TB water

1/4 ts black pepper

1 ts Dijon mustard

 

[1] Put the vinegar, water, pepper and mustard in a small bowl.

[2] Whisk until smooth.

 

Description:

" Balsamic vinegar has such an intense flavor that a small serving of this

dressing goes quite a long way. Try using it on a salad of chicory, Boston

lettuce, romaine lettuce, escarole, and watercress with cucumbers and cherry

tomatoes. "

2 TB honey

4 ts Dijon mustard

1 ts cider vinegar

 

[1] Combine yogurt, honey, mustard, and cider vinegar in a jar. Tighten lid and

shake until blended.

[2] Chill for 30 minutes before serving.

 

Description:

" This dressing combines the bite of Dijon mustard with the mellow flavor of

honey. Toss with steamed cubed potatoes, steamed trimmed green beans, tomatoes,

kidney beans and chopped fresh parsley. "
