Guest guest Posted May 8, 2004 Report Share Posted May 8, 2004 Hi, I just joined this group today and am looking forward to finding new recipes which will allow me cook in a healthier way. I have not eaten any type of meats for a few years but I have come to the conclusion that excluding meats from your diet does not necessarily constitute healthy eating. I have to find a way to include good quality protein. I found that since I have excluded meats from my diet, I have begun to gain a considerable amount of weight. I find that pre-packaged " vegetarian " meals contain a great deal of fat and I'm not sure this is the way to go.
