Apple Shake

1 cup apple juice

1 large apple -- cored, peeled & sliced

1 banana -- peeled and sliced

1/4 ts ground cinnamon

 

[1] Place apple juice, apple, banana, and cinnamon in a blender or food

processor and process until smooth.

 

Description:

3 1/2 cups apple juice -- chilled

1 cup cantaloupe -- cubed

1 cup raspberries or blueberries

1 large peach, plum, or nectarine -- peeled, halved, pitted and cut into chunks

1 1/2 cups seltzer water -- chilled

 

[1] Place apple juice, cantaloupe, raspberries or blueberries and peach, plum or

nectarine in a blender or food processor and puree.

[2] Combine fruit puree with seltzer water.

Mango Freeze

1 1/2 cups ripe mangos -- chopped

1 1/2 cups bananas -- chopped

1 cup pineapple juice

2 TB lime juice

1/2 ts vanilla extract

8 ice cubes -- cracked

 

[1] Place chopped mangoes and bananas in the freezer for 30 minutes.

[2] Place frozen fruit in a blender or food processor with pineapple juice, lime

juice, and vanilla. Puree.

[3] Gradually add ice cubes, blending until thick and icy. Serve immediately.

 

Description:

" Ripe mangoes, bananas and lime juice are united in this memorable drink. Buy

mangoes when they are still firm and allow them to ripen at room temperature

until they are soft to the touch. After they have ripened, chill them until

ready to use.
