I know you can buy a substitute, but I don't really use fish sauce that often, and would prefer to " create " my own. Thought about using soy sauce with some oil whisked in & a little more salt, but it doesn't seem quite right...I know fish sauce is going to be quite salty...but not sure how to get that particular " taste " ...
