OT Chex cereal substitute

Hey guys -- not a slimming question at all -- just wondering if anyone knows

of a substitute for Chex cereal that might be available in Australila. I

want to make something similar to Chex Mix (which I can buy imported from

USA Foods but it's really expensive and not vegan, so I want to make my own

for a Christmas party).

 

We don't have Chex cereal in Australia. The next thing similar would be

Crispix -- BUT Crispix in Australia is different than the US version. In

the US it's rice on one side, corn on the other -- and not sweetened. The

Aussie version is all corn, and has a honey coating. Again, not vegan and

too sweet for a savory mix anyway. I've already decided to throw in some

Cheerios (we only have the multigrain ones here) but I think I need

something similar to Chex as well -- any ideas?
