Guest guest
Christmas is over and the Dragons gotten fat! I need to get off my tush and do stuff (not easy when in screaming agony still - I think it is the changes in weather), medication taken (grrrrr), most of the " not so good " food has been scoffed! So I am starting over on EVERYTHING tomorrow (it would have been today but I forgot to weigh in!). De-cluttering of house, mind and body starts here (um with help please!) Guest guest
Good luck, Dragon! When you start straight away to take off that few pounds it somehow seems easier And after all that not-so-good holiday fare, a few salads and steamed veggies will seem like a treat! Anyway, I seem to have put on a few of the nasties since this time last month so I'm with you- again - all the way! Guest guest
Thanks Pat I am back to snacking on satsumas etc rather than cheese and crackers! Oh and the mushroom pate (made with real cream!!) was finished yesterday (phew!), we are planning on a week or two of light Oriental soups for lunch and stir fries for dinner - so that should help! Guest guest
These are all excellent ideas, Dragon! We have a small crate of satsumas in the kitchen now - and I can't tell you how many crates we've eaten our way through lately LOL Wonderful little snacks. Hey, there's the empty peel of one sitting next to my computer right now, which gives you a clue. Oriental soups? Great idea. I can see some lovely bokchoy, a few buckwheat noodles, mushrooms, cilantro, ginger, chilies, green onions, and and and - Hey, you've just made lunch for us!!!! As for the pate, sounds wonderful - but for slimmers probably more wonderful in the past tense. We have vegan sour creme and vegan creme cheez unfinished - lower in calories by far than the real thing but still not exactly diet food except in very small amounts Oh dear! Battle on!
