Writing made me slimmer

You wouldn't have thought so -- all that sitting around both at the

computer to write and anywhere else proofreading the printouts.

However, I found I needed to go on long bike rides and hikes to get

inspirational ideas for my fiction. I reasoned that the incresed

heart rate pumped fresh oxygen into the lateral thinking brain cell I

thought I'd lost.

I'd take a small bag of dates and nuts for my vegan lunch and often

found the exertion tightened my stomach so I wasn't famished on my

return home.

Anyway it worked. Not only did I complete a science fiction mystery

novel and find a publisher for it in 2008, I lost about 7 pounds.

Now, my novel, called Exit, Pursued by a Bee is up for a vote. Let's

have a vegan slimmer win a writing competiton!

It is free to vote. If you would be so kind, all you do is click on

http://www.critters.org/predpoll/novelsf.shtml

then scroll down to find Exit, Pursued by a Bee and then punch its

hole.

Sample pages of Exit, video trailer and other info is at

http://geoffnelder.com/exitbee.htm

Thanks

Geoff

The poll ends in 6 hours time (midnight British time) and my Exit,

pursued by a Bee has swapped places at #1 and #2 several times today.

The other book has two authors and so two lots of friends and family -

good luck to them too.

If anyone has yet to vote and would like to support a vegan writer

then the link is

http://www.critters.org/predpoll/novelsf.shtml

then scroll down to Exit, Pursued by a Bee and hit my button!

I'm a nervous wreck.
