Kinda OT...

This question has to do with slimming (a little bit), but not that much with

vegetarianism :)

I am looking into Colon Hydrotherapy and would like some feedback, good and

bad.  It is the newest option I have come across, other than some

pills/fiber/laxatives.

Thanks,

Cassie

Okay, hon, I'm not going to be much use to you because I do not do this - don't

see the need to. I have no probs with the bowel and can't see why I would want

to mess with something that isn't problematical (perhaps you have reasons I

don't know, of course, so if so please forgive my giving my opinion here).

This is what I found on a google:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colon_hydrotherapy

and this accords with what I had already heard from several sources.

And yes, this is kinda OT :) but perhaps some members would like to email you

about this on a one-to-one basis.

Good luck with what you decide.

Best, Pat

I figured it had to do a bit with slimming, as a benefit is smaller stomach.

I have always had a protruding waistline (especially within 1 hour after

eating), but that was while I have eating animals.  Since becoming vegetarian I

have not had that issue.  But, the colon/bowel issue has resurfaced.

Thanks for the link.

And yes, if anyone has had a colonic or taken a colon therapy supplement, please

feel free to email me off group.  Nothing is too graphic for me :)
