fruit pie? diet food?

Hi everyone,

 

I'm getting ready to start my diet in time for new years. I've gained 10 lbs

and want to drop the weight as part of a new years resolution. (I lost 55

lbs previously)...

 

Anyway, I bought these cute plastic " pocket makers " things, where you put a

pie crust or bread in the shape of a circle, add filling and then close it

and the thing crimps the sides.

 

I would like to use them to make something neat, any ideas?

 

Also I would like to find some good tasting low sugar low cal foods that

don't take a degree in culinary arts to make at home...

 

I'm thinking a sweet potato/yam filled " fruit pie " or samosa or something

would be fun to make.
