Guest guest Posted May 9, 2005 Report Share Posted May 9, 2005 " Caramel " Covered Popcorn Source: Recipes of Friendship Cookbook (adapted) 1 cup unpopped popcorn kernels 1/2 cup brown rice syrup 2 Tbsp. soy milk powder (or rice milk powder) 2 Tbsp. carob powder 1 tsp. vanilla 1 Tbsp. maple syrup Pop corn into a large bowl, removing any unpopped kernels. Combine remaining ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring to a light boil, stirring constantly. Drizzle 1/2 mixture over popcorn. Stir well. Drizzle remaining mixture over and stir well. All popcorn should be lightly coated. Spread on two large cookie sheets. Place in a 250 degree oven and bake for 10 - 15 minutes. Cool and serve. A general favorite!
